Carrie-ed Away!
The discerning wait finally ended and I went to watch the most anticipated movie of the year, "Sex & The City". The film wasn't that great though my idea behind watching it was to feast my eyes on four gorgeous stylissmas and their couture escapades. Sarah Jessica Parker is a stunner all the way as uber-chic Carrie who has an undying passion for Manolos. The suede blue jeweled manolos were drop dead gorgeous like Sarah's billowing and enormous Vivienne Westwood wedding dress. Though I was heart broken when she gets married like a plain Jane in a simple vintage dress. That's life!
What touched me most about the film was that it takes female bonding to a new level. When Carrie is heart broken after Mr Big chickens out on the wedding day, all girls go to Mexico on a vacation which pulls Carrie out of the lousy mood or when Miranda is sulking on New year's eve and Carrie goes to meet her braving the chill(not to miss the sequined beret she is wearing).
The funniest part was when Sam waits for her boy friend on the eve of Valentine's day with sushi all over her naked body and when Charlotte hurls abuses at Mr Big, "I'd curse the day you were born!" Phew!
All in all it was another piece of 'chic' cinema after the much celebrated, 'The Devil Wears Prada.'
I loooooved the Vogue fashion shoot with divine couture creations by Christian Lacroix, Oscar De Le Renta, Vera Wang, Dior and Vivienne Westwood and also when girls hoot at the NEW York fashion week.
PS:I wish life was all about downing martinis and shopping for LV handbags.

I have seen only the final season of SATC. But I guess I can handle the movie.
Came across on style.com. If you're talking style/fashion/art, you should take into consideration your layout and page construction. It could use some work for better outcome. Good luck!
