After witnessing the hippie chic at Milan, Paris offers some breathtaking collections.
Dior show is always adrenalin pumping and builds up humongous anticipation. John Galliano after the impressive haute couture showing came out with yet another gorgeous collection with models sporting huge hair dos and breathtakingly elaborate eye make-up. The hats, bags and of course the shoes lent a theatrical edge to the whole ensemble.
The luscious colour palette of pink, purple, magenta, red, orange and green was gorgeous. The acid yellow gown worn by Coco Rocha was drop dead gorgeous! I loved the boxy jackets with stand away collars. Chinchillas were awesome and also the jewel encrusted gown.
Many felt that this wasn't a great collection but I feel it wasn't bad though! The clothes were luxe and wearable at the same time.
For those of you, who are die-hard romantics...with an eye for art and aesthetics...and admire all the colourful things in life...dynamism of design, flowers, books, clothes etc....
